Uber president says AI spending is getting ‘harder to justify’
Uber says it is reassessing whether its AI spending is producing meaningful returns after reportedly using its annual AI budget within four months of 2026. President and COO Andrew Macdonald said the company is not seeing a clear link between rising Claude Code token use and business value.
