Turing Award winner Rich Sutton founds Oak Lab to build AI agents that learn on their own
Richard Sutton, a 2024 Turing Award winner and reinforcement learning pioneer, has launched Oak Lab in Toronto. The startup aims to develop AI agents that continuously learn from their environments, which Sutton says could address limitations of current deep learning methods.
