Tidal won’t pay royalties on AI-generated music but isn’t banning it outright
Tidal will label tracks it identifies as 100% AI-generated with an icon starting July 15. Beginning today, those tracks will no longer be eligible for royalties, as part of new policies the company says are meant to protect artists and inform listeners.
