A new bipartisan bill would let Americans sue for damages if a government official illegally tries to pressure a social media, AI, or broadcasting company to remove a post, even if the platform does not comply. Senate Commerce Chair Ted Cruz and Sen. Ron Wyden introduced the JAWBONE Act.
