Sydney academic used AI to write SMH opinion piece urging students to avoid using tech to ‘cut corners’
Western Sydney University pro-vice chancellor Cath Ellis used AI to help draft a Sydney Morning Herald opinion piece warning students not to use technology to cut corners. The paper later removed the piece, while the university said her use of AI was appropriate.
