South Korea to spend $1T on more memory chip production and humanoid robots
South Korea plans to invest about $1 trillion to expand memory chip production and develop physical AI, with a goal of commercial humanoid robots by 2028. The country says the effort is aimed at strengthening its position in advanced manufacturing and robotics.
