OpenAI’s apparent failure to visit key site raises questions over UK investment
OpenAI’s proposed Stargate UK datacentre project has been paused, according to an OpenAI spokesperson, who cited regulation and high energy costs. The report says UK ministers may have overstated the certainty of up to £20bn of the announced AI investment.
