OpenAI confidentially files for initial public offering on US stock market
OpenAI said it has confidentially submitted an S-1 to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, a step toward a possible initial public offering. The company said it has not set a timing for going public and is expected to be valued at more than $850bn.
