NHS to use AI on its app to direct patients to appropriate services
The NHS will add an AI tool to its app in England to triage patients and direct them to suitable services, including GP appointments, pharmacies or A&E. The rollout is expected to reach about 200,000 patients over the next year as part of a £10bn plan to update NHS systems.
