Mira Murati’s Thinking Machines Lab Introduces Interaction Models: A Native Multimodal Architecture for Real-Time Human-AI Collaboration
Thinking Machines Lab has released a research preview of TML-Interaction-Small, a 276B-parameter MoE model with 12B active parameters. The system uses time-aligned multimodal micro-turns for simultaneous audio, video, and text processing, alongside a parallel background model for longer reasoning and tool use.
