Microsoft Research Releases Webwright: A Terminal-Native Web Agent Framework That Scores 60.1% on Odysseys, Up from Base GPT-5.4’s 33.5%
Microsoft Research introduced Webwright, a terminal-native browser agent framework that uses reusable Playwright scripts instead of click-trace automation. In tests, Webwright with GPT-5.4 scored 60.1% on Odysseys and 86.7% on Online-Mind2Web, improving over the base model on those benchmarks.
