Microsoft launches its own cybersecurity model MAI-Cyber-1-Flash but still depends on OpenAI for the toughest tasks
Microsoft introduced MAI-Cyber-1-Flash, a compact cybersecurity model that scored 96% on CyberGym within its MDASH multi-agent system. Microsoft says the approach could cut costs by 50%, while complex cases are routed to OpenAI’s GPT-5.4.
