Meta shifts from "tokenmaxxing" to token managing as internal AI costs reportedly hit billions
An internal Meta memo says the company expects its internal AI usage to drive billions in costs. Starting in 2027, budgets, allocations, and a central AI Gateway dashboard will track and manage token consumption across teams.
