Meta is rapidly reorganizing its workers’ jobs around AI: ‘Transfers aren’t optional’
Meta is moving more than 7,000 employees into new AI-focused teams, including groups working on AI cloud infrastructure and an internal AI agent code-named Hatch. The company has also reassigned engineers to other AI teams, with some transfers described as mandatory.
