Majority of datacenters are vulnerable to climate threats like floods and fires, study finds
A report from climate risk analytics firm First Street found that nearly 80% of datacenters are exposed to extreme climate hazards, including flooding, extreme winds and wildfires. The study notes these risks could cause operational disruptions, increased downtime, and higher insurance and repair costs.
