Linux Foundation and 20 tech giants launch Akrites to fix open-source flaws before AI-powered attacks hit
The Linux Foundation and about 20 tech companies, AI labs, and banks are backing Akrites, an effort to identify and fix vulnerabilities in critical open-source software before AI tools can exploit them. The initiative aims to improve security in widely used software components.
