Labor to set terms for datacentre and AI growth as it vows not to repeat mistakes of resources boom
Australia’s assistant minister for the digital economy said the government should shape the growth of AI and datacentres to avoid repeating mistakes made during the resources boom. He noted datacentre expansion has accelerated, with 44 NSW projects seeking 11GW of grid capacity.
