Jesse Thaler named director of the Laboratory for Nuclear Science
Jesse Thaler, a professor of physics and inaugural director of the NSF AI Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Fundamental Interactions, has been named director of MIT's Laboratory for Nuclear Science. He will lead the lab while continuing his research in particle physics.
