Hugging Face hosted malicious software masquerading as OpenAI release
A malicious Hugging Face repository disguised as an OpenAI release reportedly delivered infostealer malware to Windows machines and reached about 244,000 downloads before being removed, according to HiddenLayer. Researchers said the download count may have been artificially inflated by the attackers.
