How we built an MCP bridge to give our AgentCore-hosted AI agent access to local MCP tools
AWS describes an MCP bridge that connects cloud-hosted Amazon Bedrock AgentCore agents to local tools and files. The design tunnels signed messages over a WebSocket through a browser extension and Chrome native messaging, without requiring open ports or a VPN.
