Hackers likely hijacked over 20,000 Instagram accounts with Meta’s AI chatbot

Meta said a bug in its AI support chatbot likely allowed attackers to hijack 20,225 Instagram accounts without two-factor authentication. The company disclosed the issue in a notice to Maine and said the exploit was used by asking the chatbot for account-related information.
