Graphene “Tattoos” for Plants Could Form Neural Networks

Researchers in Texas developed a graphene patch that can be stuck onto a plant leaf to measure moisture in real time without cutting the leaf. The team says the sensor could eventually serve as an artificial synapse for plant-based neural networks used to monitor drought or fire risk.
