Google Research's Gemini-SQL2 tops text-to-SQL benchmarks by a wide margin
Google Research says Gemini-SQL2 converts natural language into executable SQL queries and, based on Gemini 3.1 Pro, reached 80.04% accuracy on the BIRD benchmark. Google says the system could improve natural language capabilities across its data services.
