Google lets sites opt out of AI search results, knowing most have nowhere else to go
Google is adding a Search Console toggle that lets website operators opt out of AI search features such as AI Overviews and AI Mode. It is also splitting performance reports for AI features, after pressure from the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority.
