Google busts the myth that AI search needs its own SEO playbook
Google said that “generative engine optimization” and “answer engine optimization” are not separate disciplines from SEO. The company said AI search uses the same ranking systems as traditional search and noted that tactics such as LLMS.txt files and content chunking are not needed.
