Germany's National Security Council greenights an AI Safety Institute modeled after the UK's AISI
Germany’s National Security Council has approved the creation of a national AI security institute, DE-AISI. The institute will assess frontier models from companies such as Anthropic and OpenAI for security risks, following the UK’s AISI model.
