Doctors and NHS could be sued for mistakes made by AI tools, report warns
A Medical Protection Society report warns that doctors and the NHS could face negligence claims for harms caused by AI-assisted diagnosis or treatment. It says current law may still hold clinicians and the health service liable even when the error came from the technology, and calls for legal reform.
