Boost City regulator’s powers to help protect UK consumers from AI, says watchdog
A Financial Conduct Authority review says firms are beginning to move from human-led services to AI-enabled ones in financial services. It urges ministers to strengthen the City regulator’s powers to better protect UK consumers from risks including cybercrime and fraud.
