Bain study finds companies miss AI savings targets because humans keep getting in the way
Bain surveyed 951 companies and found nearly 40% achieved less than 10% in AI cost savings, while most had targeted 11% to 20%. The report says many business cases assume fully autonomous agents, but only 7% of companies actually run them.
