Anthropic watermarks all Claude outputs globally with marks that "may persist through some editing"
Anthropic says it will embed invisible watermarks in all Claude-generated text worldwide and sign files using the C2PA standard. Models released from August 2026 will include labeling from launch, with detection tools planned for third-party verification.
