Anthropic sets Claude Code to Auto Mode by default to protect developers from bad approvals
Anthropic will make Auto Mode the default in Claude Code for Pro, Max, and Team plans starting August 14. The company says tests found the classifier detected 89% of dangerous commands, compared with 13.6% identified by human reviewers.
