Anthropic says Claude now writes over 90% of its code and wants the world to have an AI pause button
Anthropic says Claude now generates more than 80% of its production code, and the company says engineers are shipping about eight times as much code per day as in 2024. Anthropic also argues for a verifiable global pause in frontier AI development if other major labs agree to do the same.
