Anthropic's Claude Fable 5 costs twice as much for 5.7 percent more performance
Artificial Analysis says Anthropic's Claude Fable 5 leads its Intelligence Index with 64.9 points and records on five of ten benchmarks. The report says its performance gain over Opus 4.8 is 5.7% while token pricing is about double, with safety filters and fallback routing increasing costs further.
