Amazon’s Panos Panay addresses new Fire phone rumors
Amazon devices chief Panos Panay said the company is “not necessarily” planning to launch a smartphone, while not ruling it out. The comment follows reports that Amazon may be developing an Alexa-enabled AI phone codenamed “Transformer,” more than a decade after the Fire Phone was discontinued.
