AI leaders call for tougher protections against AI-aided bioweapons
Leaders from major AI companies urged U.S. lawmakers to adopt stricter biosecurity rules to reduce the risk of AI being used to help develop biological weapons. In an open letter, they said current protections leave a dangerous gap.
