AI has a water problem. Google thinks it has a fix
Google said it will try to reduce the water impact of its AI data centers by increasing local water availability and sharing five commitments in a new blog post. The company framed the effort as part of its response to criticism over the environmental effects of AI infrastructure expansion in the US.
