AI-generated stories rated better quality than human-written ones, study finds
A study of 1,682 adults found that short stories generated by ChatGPT received higher quality ratings than three comparable human-written stories. The researcher attributed the result partly to AI’s simpler, more readable writing and said it does not mean human authors are obsolete.
