AI's energy appetite drives Nvidia and Amazon to pour billions into massive power infrastructure
Nvidia is reportedly investing up to $3 billion in Lancium, a power infrastructure developer with four gigawatts under contract in Texas. Amazon is building a Texas gas-fired plant with capacity up to 7.65 gigawatts, potentially emitting 33 million tons of CO₂ annually.
